Our Cake and Cupcake Ingredients vary a lot depending on the cake design chosen, however, below is an insight to what we use.
Our base cake ingredients are: Flour (contains Wheat Gluten), Butter, Sugar, Buttermilk, Vegetable Oil, Egg, Cream Cheese, Milk, Baking Powder and Salt.
Depending on cake flavour, we will also add: Cocoa, Pillarbox Red Colouring and/or Lemon Rind.

Our Low-Gluten base cake ingredients are: Gluten-Free Flour, Butter, Sugar, Buttermilk, Vegetable Oil, Cream Cheese, Milk, Baking Powder and Salt.

Gluten-Free / Coeliac / Gluten Intolerance Allergy
We offer a range of low-gluten cake and cupcakes products for those who consider their gluten consumption. While we bake these products with gluten-free flour, there may be other ingredients, particularly decorations on cakes, which may contain gluten. Furthermore, our low-gluten products are produced in a kitchen that also produces goods containing gluten. We ask to exercise caution if you have a severe gluten allergy.
Vegan Cakes
Our Vegan Cake base ingredients are: Flour (contains Wheat Gluten), Sugar, Egg Replacer (Tapioca), Vegetable Oil, Coconut Milk, Bi-Carb Soda and Salt.
Depending on cake flavour, we will also add: Cocoa.

Allergens: Attention customers with food allergies. Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish and/or wheat(gluten).
Due to the hundreds of ingredients we stock in the kitchen from all over the world, we make every effort to produce our allergen-sensitive products (e.g. Nut/Gluten/Dairy sensitive) avoiding allergens. However, we do rely on our ingredient suppliers to provide accurate allergen statements. We would like to advise you that in addition to any supplier ingredient and allergen statement, many suppliers provide further disclaimers that their products are produced on manufacturing lines that also produce products containing allergens. Within our production facility, in the interests of transparency, we produce our allergen sensitive products in the same kitchen as our standard products, so a small risk of cross-contamination may occur. We deliver to kindergartens and schools frequently and do not bake with any nut products, however we do need to let you know:
Apart from wrapped Ferrero Rocher’s (containing hazelnuts) used on some cakes, we do not purchase any nut products for the kitchen. However, some of our decorations and ingredients do come with warnings from the suppliers that they are processed on machinery that also processes nut products, so a risk of cross-contamination may occur, hence this advice. We ask to exercise caution if you have a severe allergy.
For those with any dairy or lactose intolerance, please consider our Vegan Cupcakes and Vegan Cakes. While these products do not use dairy products, they are produced in a kitchen that uses dairy products, so a risk of cross-contamination may occur.
For those with a mild lactose intolerance who can still enjoy baked goods, we can make your cake with our standard firm butter cakes, but use vegan icing, instead of cream cheese icing. This is particularly nice for our chocolate cakes! Do let us know in advance if you would like this.
